Services

I provide a fully managed service from responsive email design & builds to marketing automation (triggered campaigns, workflows & customer journeys), reporting and post campaign analysis.

If you don’t need a full service, I’m happy to supply a mixture of these services to meet your requirements.

Email Design & Build

From custom individual emails to re-usable templates, I can design an email that fits both your branding and marketing needs.

With mobile opens increasing every year, all my emails are designed to work responsively, increasing your engagement with mobile users.

My design service also includes subscription forms, preference centres and landing pages to enhance your campaigns and grow your databases.

Emails can also contain social share options for your subscribers to post to social news feeds.

All email designs are tested across all the major email clients to ensure your email looks great in every inbox.

Database & List Management

A clean, engaged email database is your greatest asset and vital for effective campaigns.

I can work with you to implement sign-up forms and strategies to segment your data. List segmentation is a powerful tool that allows campaigns to be sent to targeted segments of subscribers. These segments can be based on interest groups, demographic data, e-commerce activity, and other subscriber data.

Unsubscribes and undeliverable address are removed from your data following each campaign ensuring your list stays clean.

Are you ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

GDPR is a regulation, not a directive, it has binding legal force and will be immediately enforceable as law in all EU member states on May 25, 2018.

GDPR will affect every company that uses personal data from EU citizens. If you’re collecting email addresses and send email to subscribers in the EU, you’ll have to comply with GDPR—no matter where you’re based.

GDPR touches several aspects of email marketing, especially how marketers seek, collect, and record consent.

With GDPR in place, marketers will only be allowed to send email to people who’ve opted-in to receive messages. While this has already been the case in most European countries under the EU Privacy Directive, GDPR further specifies the nature of consent that’s required for commercial communication. Starting in May 2018, brands have to collect affirmative consent that is “freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous” to be compliant with GDPR.

In addition, the signup process must inform subscribers about the brand that’s collecting the consent and provide information about the purposes of collecting personal data.

Many practices that marketers previously used to grow their database won’t be compliant under GDPR. If someone left their email address to download a whitepaper or provided their contact information to enter a contest? If you didn’t tell them you’d use their personal data to send marketing messages—and if they didn’t actively agree that it is okay to use their data for that very reason—it won’t be legal to add those email addresses to your mailing list.

The GDPR not only sets the rules for how to collect consent, but also requires companies to keep record of these consents.

Going forward, email marketers will have to change how they collect and store subscribers’ consent. GDPR also applies to all existing data. If your database includes subscribers whose permissions haven’t been collected according to the GDPR’s standards, or if you can’t provide sufficient proof of consent for some of your contacts, you might not be allowed to send email to those subscribers anymore.

Campaign Analysis & Reporting

It is imperative to analyse your campaigns to gain insight into what works and what doesn’t, and that the results are meeting the goal of your email marketing strategy.

  • Are your subscribers engaged with your brand?
  • How many opened, clicked or unsubscribed?
  • What is your conversion rate?
  • What is your list growth rate?
  • What is your sharing/forwarding rate?
  • Is your content relevant?  What works and what doesn’t…

As well as campaign statistics, your links can also be tracked on your website using Google Analytics to provide insight into conversions and revenue generated.

Automations & Workflows

Marketing automation makes sure your emails get to the right people at the right time.

Target customers based on behaviour, preferences, and previous sales.

  • Send a series of welcome emails to introduce your new subscribers to your company
  • Send product recommendations based on their purchase history
  • Remind them of items left in their shopping basket
  • Wish your subscribers a happy anniversary/birthday
  • And much more…

With automation workflows, emails are sent automatically to subscribers as they meet your sending criteria or trigger.

Integrating your email marketing with other systems

Optimise your email marketing workflows by integrating with other services such as CRM, eCommerce, Social Media, your website and much more…

These integrations will help you grow your list, track activity and sync data between systems.

Testimonials

“Absolutely outstanding client service and constant digital innovation are intertwined through Julie like a stick of rock. We have worked together on our ‘end monthly mailings’ almost from the start in 2001 and our cloud library dating from January 2005 now amounts to some 2,000 pages of independent insights into the senior board level independent project market. There is nothing more important to ‘thought leadership’ than actually communicating it. No business can afford not to do regular client communication well. Simple as that.”
